We have a new video series starting up real soon that we can’t wait for you to watch. It’s called “Pogi In The Peg” which features various Filipino-Canadian men pursuing careers outside of the traditional ones our parents want for us. Series trailer is out! Make sure to support!
When was the first time you became conscious of “your look”?
For me it was when in the eighth grade and Tumblr showed me what “swag” was. (I cringed typing that word) I’m sure you all remember when all the boys wore snapbacks and crewneck sweaters.
I was a chunkier kid (still am) so I was constantly on the look for a style that would look nice on me. I don’t think #ootds were a thing back then, so I was on lookbook.nu searching for inspiration.
Finding your style is hard because there aren’t any wrong ways and too many right ones. The options are endless and making one “yours” is difficult.
My advice — take time to experiment and try things out! I do it all the time whenever I’m feeling uninspired.
It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about it because it’s your look and you can do whatever you want with it. If you like the way you look, you’ll feel good about yourself.
Till next time,
We have a podcast now!
