Gratitude.

One of the greatest promises of life is that nothing ever stays the same for too long.

When things are good, we have this radiant outlook on life and we’re so happy. When things are bad, we fall into this self-pity party and can’t seem to get out of it.

When I was at my lowest, I used to tell people that there was no point in being happy because sadness comes up anyways. It’s so easy to play the victim and be all “why is everything happening to me?” but I’m telling you now, it’s not worth it.

Everyone has bad days. F*ck, everyone has bad weeks or months, but things will look up. The point is that we need to accept our position and accept that we don’t always have full control on how we feel.

By embracing life’s never-ending changes, we become more humble in our happiest days and hopeful in our saddest.

Wherever you are emotionally right now, embrace it. The good and the bad. This is how we find contentment in all aspects of our lives.

Stay humble. Stay hopeful.

Happy Thanksgiving pogi!
