How I Get Over That “Meh” Feeling

Are you ever out in public for work or with friends, but all you want to do is go home and sleep? Maybe not even sleep, maybe you just feel “meh”.

Sometimes I’m super drowsy when I’m listening to a very important lecture. Sometimes I feel insecure and just want to hide.

You know what I mean?

Don’t lie.

I know you’ve felt this way.

One of the ways I combat this is to give myself little prizes that make me excited about where I am. I like to sip on my favourite drink, which right now is a cold bottle of milk tea.

I also feel more energized when I like the way I’m dressed. I wear my favourite shoes, shirt, and even my super special Calvin Klein undies. It’s hard to feel “meh” when you look super good.

Whatever it is that makes you feel energized and ready to take on the day — do it. It never hurts to make yourself happy first.

Giving yourself the best care and treatment will allow you to do the same for those around you.
